Rise up NHL Ticket Holders and Strike!

Yes I know I haven’t blogged for a number of months but then again there has been nothing to talk about. Hockey lockout, blah, blah blah.

I was thinking the other day how we as season ticket holders could make a statement to the NHL and NHLPA about what we think about this lockout for millions of dollars. Here’s my proposal and if you like it then let’s make it viral so others can ponder it.

As a Nucks season ticket holder, I would like propose to all other NHL ticket holders, that you stage a first game back no show, if and whenever that happens. Yes the NHL has our money but they would have an empty rink, (wouldn’t that look weird as the players skate onto the ice)  which also means no dollars from food & drink concessions, parking, and sales from merchandise.

I’m prepared to eat my cost just to voice my opinion to the Canucks & NHL, about this stupid dispute over millions of dollars by millionaires. If they think they garner any sympathy from us working stiffs, then all that money has gone to their heads.

Shame on the NHL & NHLPA!  Don’t they realize that without the fans there is no NHL, and this is how they treat us – like pawns! Talk about no respect, they could care less about us. It’s all about the dollars my friends.

So in closing I challenge you to rise up through the social media ranks and let them hear our voice as one.

Until we speak again,

Nucks IceMan
